Career Tasters
At Nagle Catholic College, we engage students in the Year 9 Career Taster Program (CTP) as charted by the Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD) in conjunction with the Department of Education (DOE). Our commitment to providing exceptional educational experiences extends to fostering a culture of career exploration and readiness among our students.
By participating in the Year 9 Career Taster Program, our students gain invaluable insights into the world of work, explore various career pathways, and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to make informed decisions about their future.
Through our support of the Career Taster Program, we aim to:
Empower students to engage in opportunities that help them gain insight into future career pathways available to them.
Encourage students’ curiosity and exploration to develop their self-awareness about their own interests, strengths and capabilities.
Assist them to ask questions, seek new experiences, and pursue their passions.
Guide them on how to decide on the educational pathway they would like to take to pursue their future careers.
At Nagle Catholic College, we are shaping a future where every student has the knowledge, skills and confidence to pursue their aspirations.
