The Special Instrumental Scholarship (SIS) is offered to students who show potential for learning and excelling on a chosen musical instrument. All Year 7 students will be given the opportunity to take a Music Aptitude test before they commence at the College. There are 25 scholarships on offer. If selected, students are given the option to learn a band instrument or voice for free through the program.

Students who show musical aptitude will be invited to apply for their preferred instrument.

Year 7 2021 students
For students attending St Francis Xavier Primary School, St John's Primary School, and St Lawrence Primary school, testing will take place at each of the schools during Term 3. Students not attending one of the above mentioned schools, the College will be holding testing days in Term 3 on:
* Tuesday 21 July 3:30pm - 4:00pm (Music Room - 405)
* Friday 24 July 3:30pm - 4:00pm (Music Room - 405)
