Pre-Apprenticeships in Schools is an innovative, one year ‘transition to work’ program designed to meet the specific needs of those students in Year 11 or Year 12 who are planning to pursue an apprenticeship as a post-school option. The program consists of three days in school studying General courses and two days out of school attending Central Regional TAFE to complete a Certificate II Pre-Apprenticeship qualification.
The focus is on assisting students who wish to transition from school at the end of Year 11 or Year 12 to employment in either an apprenticeship or traineeship, or to continue with TAFE studies. For further information, please view the PAiS Fact Sheet by selecting the link below. |
